'Art in Plastic' Series

A series of works highlighting the impact of plastic on our planet
This project has been, woefully, inspired by the surreptitious and stealthy dramatic increase in plastic usage in our daily lives, which now threatens not only our wildlife’s survival but also that of our own.  This plastic insurgency is now at upmost critical levels and we must make drastic changes to the way we use plastic if we are to avoid and escape our world’s destruction.

As a result I have been, ironically inspired by this excessive and unnecessary plastic usage and I have embarked on a serious of art works, incorporating disposable plastic as the main components, as an attempt to try and bring the plastic problem to the attention of the public in a rather dramatic, direct and striking way.

This art project centres on the impact and devastation of disposable plastic on our lives, our ecosystems and our fragile planet through the use of throwaway plastic incorporated into rather dramatic, graphic and thought provoking pieces.
